Mount Nutt Wilderness covers about 28,000 acres of the central Black Mountains between Kingman and Bullhead City. Volcanic peaks, desert washes, and sparse springs define the range. Cave Spring Trail is a short steep route to a named spring on the east slope. Most boundary approaches need high-clearance or four-wheel-drive; day use is free.
Cultural sites and artifacts are protected by federal law (ARPA/NHPA) — stay on established routes, touch and remove nothing, and follow the managing agency's and the affiliated tribe's guidance on access.
