Mormon Well Spring sits on Desert National Wildlife Refuge along the Mormon Well Road corridor north of Las Vegas. Mormon ranchers developed the spring and a circular corral for summer pasture in the early 1900s; the area was largely abandoned by about 1924. Little remains beyond the spring works, cement troughs, and the corral, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
