On the Green River at the foot of a steep dirt switchback road off Highway 313 west of Island in the Sky, Mineral Bottom is the usual take-out for Labyrinth Canyon canoe and kayak trips and a put-in for runs into Canyonlands. The road drops hundreds of feet from the mesa rim and can be slick when wet.
