Jewel Tibbetts Arch stands at the head of Hell Roaring Canyon off Highway 313 west of Moab. A BLM primitive loop of about 2.1 miles leads from a dirt-road trailhead across washes and blackbrush mesa to a slickrock overlook of the arch and the 400-foot-deep canyon. The arch is named for Jewel Tibbetts, who ranched nearby at Horsethief Ranch in the 1950s–60s and guided visitors to the feature.
