Gold camp about ten miles northeast of Bridgeport near the Nevada line, named by Freemason prospectors and also called Lorena. Upper, Middle, and Lower Town clustered here around 1900–1910 with mill, store, and post office; Middle Town holds most of the stone and mill ruins. Dirt approaches from Bridgeport favor high clearance when roads are dry.
