Singatse Range copper camp (originally Morningstar) rebuilt by the Nevada-Douglas Copper Company and terminus of the Nevada Copper Belt Railroad after 1911. At peak ~750 residents with school, hotel, and a large leaching plant; gypsum work briefly extended life into the 1930s. Substantial concrete leaching-plant ruins and townsite foundations remain west of Yerington.
