Early Death Valley–Amargosa borax camp at the Lila C mine that spurred the Tonopah & Tidewater Railroad spur from Death Valley Junction. Later operations shifted to (New) Ryan; the Lila C site retains historic mine landscape significance as the richer colemanite camp that preceded the better-known Ryan company town.
