At the foot of the Organ Mountains east of Las Cruces, La Cueva is a rock shelter associated with Jornada Mogollon occupation and later hermit residence. Visitors reach it on trails from the Dripping Springs Visitor Center. Picnic facilities and a day-use fee apply.
