Silver boom camp founded in 1882 on Middle Percha Creek in the Black Range foothills. Once among the largest towns in the Territory with banks, hotels, and mills; a handful of residents still keep Victorio Hotel, Percha Bank museum, and assay-office streetscape open to visitors exploring the Black Range back roads.
