Fuller Bottom is the upstream access on the San Rafael River for the roughly 14–18 mile corridor known as the Little Grand Canyon. Boaters and hikers start here and work downstream toward the Swinging Bridge take-out, with many river crossings on the foot route. The access road drops from the mesa to a cottonwood bottom on BLM land managed out of Price. Flow is seasonal; floating works only when the river is high enough.
Cultural sites and artifacts are protected by federal law (ARPA/NHPA) — stay on established routes, touch and remove nothing, and follow the managing agency's and the affiliated tribe's guidance on access.
