Approximate location — plotted from published sources, not a site visit, and not a guarantee of access.
About 26 miles south of Escalante, Dry Fork Road leaves Hole-in-the-Rock Road and reaches trailheads for Peek-A-Boo and Spooky Gulch, narrow slot canyons cut into Navajo Sandstone. Peek-A-Boo requires a short climb to enter; Spooky is a long tight slot downstream. Low-clearance vehicles often park short of the lower trailhead.
Cultural sites and artifacts are protected by federal law (ARPA/NHPA) — stay on established routes, touch and remove nothing, and follow the managing agency's and the affiliated tribe's guidance on access.
