High point of the Stansbury Mountains west of Tooele Valley—a rugged limestone/quartzite summit with classic Basin-and-Range relief above the Great Salt Lake desert approaches. Popular ridge and loop hikes on the Wasatch–Cache / Uinta-Wasatch-Cache national forest side make it a field geology and summit destination, not a roadside overlook only.
