Copper-mining community on US-93 south of Jackpot, active from the 1890s with hotel, newspaper, and smelter-era boom, then largely emptied after a 1942 fire. A few structures and the NDOT maintenance station remain at the old townsite among granite-hosted mine workings of the Contact Mining District.
