Chevelon Creek Bridge

Navajo County, AZ

Approximate location — plotted from published sources, not a site visit, and not a guarantee of access.

The 1913 Chevelon Creek Bridge carried the Santa Fe Highway across a deep canyon southeast of Winslow until a later realignment bypassed it. Missouri Valley Bridge & Iron built the steel structure early in Arizona statehood. Restored for historic interpretation, it is one of the state's better-documented early highway spans in open country.
