Remote two-hundred-acre canyon reservoir on Chevelon Creek in Apache–Sitgreaves National Forests, about twenty-eight miles northwest of Heber on the Mogollon Rim. Built in 1965 for flood control and recreation, it is stocked with trout and offers quiet wildlife and fishing water among the Rim Lakes. Final approach is walk-in after long unpaved forest roads; winter snow often closes access.
