The Carrisa Lookout Complex on Lincoln National Forest holds an 80-foot Aermotor steel tower with a 7-by-7-foot cab erected in 1934, plus a CCC observer cabin and shed from 1935. Structures were restored in 2012 and listed on the National Register. The road to the tower is gated; the Forest Service allows foot access and has discussed future cabin rental use.
