Large human and animal figures scraped into desert pavement sit on low mesas about 15 miles north of Blythe, west of U.S. 95. The Bureau of Land Management fenced the figures in the 1970s and interprets them as prehistoric geoglyphs of the lower Colorado River corridor. Short walks from signed dirt pullouts reach several fenced intaglios. Heat and lack of shade define the visit.
