Horseshoe-shaped cinder-and-spatter cone rising more than 300 ft above the Black Rock Desert valley floor between I-15 and Kanosh. Part of Utah’s youngest volcanic field (UGS GeoSights), alongside Ice Springs lava flows, Tabernacle Hill, and Pahvant Butte—easily seen from the interstate and reachable by graded desert roads for close-up basalt geology.
