Birch Hollow

Kane County, UT

Approximate location — plotted from published sources, not a site visit, and not a guarantee of access.

Birch Hollow is a dry tributary of Orderville Canyon on BLM land just outside Zion National Park's east boundary. From a signed trailhead on North Fork Road, a technical canyoneering route with multiple rappels—the longest about 120 feet—drops into Orderville Canyon. The canyon is managed for recreation; a kiosk stands at the trailhead. No BLM permit is required for Birch itself, though continuing through Zion sections follows park rules.
