Zabriskie Point overlooks golden badlands carved from ancient lake beds in Death Valley National Park. Sunrise lights the ridgelines amber and orange; a short paved path from the Highway 190 parking lot reaches the viewpoint. The site became a film landmark after Michelangelo Antonioni's 1970 movie of the same name.
