The Warner Valley track site holds more than four hundred Early Jurassic dinosaur footprints in sandstone southwest of St. George. Paleontologists describe multiple trackways attributed to theropods of Dilophosaurus and Megapnosaurus grade. A short BLM trail and interpretive signs lead from a dirt-road trailhead. The site is free and open year-round.
Cultural sites and artifacts are protected by federal law (ARPA/NHPA) — stay on established routes, touch and remove nothing, and follow the managing agency's and the affiliated tribe's guidance on access.
