Two conical stone charcoal kilns stand about four miles north of the Tybo townsite in Nye County. Built in the 1870s to supply charcoal for smelting silver-lead ore from the Hot Creek Range camps, each kiln is roughly thirty feet high. Graded dirt roads from U.S. 6 via Tybo reach the site. The nearby townsite holds additional mill and cabin ruins.
