The Blues WSA lies in southern Garfield County about five miles northeast of Henrieville, with Highway 12 forming part of the southern boundary inside Grand Staircase–Escalante country. Blue-gray badland slopes and open high desert define the unit rather than a single trailhead. Recreation is undeveloped.
