Isolated high-plains summit and landmark above the Taiban corridor in eastern De Baca County, marking resistant mesa-edge topography along the transition from the Pecos valley country toward the Caprock plains. A natural landform stop for open-sky prairie and erosional-escarpment viewing complementary to (but separate from) The Cap Rock pin farther northeast.
