Stone foundations and adobe wall fragments mark the abandoned Spanish fort on the San Pedro River. Hugo O’Conor founded the military outpost in 1775; the Spanish quit by about 1780. BLM manages the site within the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area. An interpretive trail leads about a mile from trailhead parking to the ruins.
