Poeville (also called Poe City) was a 1860s–70s mining camp on the Peavine Mountain side above Reno/Stead. Little more than foundations and mining scars remain along dirt tracks in the Peavine district. Easy day trip from Reno; stay on public roads and leave relics in place under ARPA.
