Northern day-use unit of Petroglyph National Monument on Albuquerque’s West Mesa. An undeveloped ~1.5–1.8 mi round-trip trail along the volcanic escarpment reaches roughly 400 Ancestral Puebloan and historic petroglyphs—among the densest panels in the monument. Separate parking and trailhead from the visitor center and from Boca Negra/Rinconada units.
