The Muleshoe Ranch Cooperative Management Area spans about 55,000 acres of Galiuro foothills and riparian canyons northeast of Willcox under joint Nature Conservancy, BLM, and Forest Service management. Day hikers sign in at the entrance kiosk on Jackson Cabin Road. Headquarters buildings and Hookers Hot Springs remain closed to casual visitors. Redfield Canyon Wilderness and Galiuro Wilderness adjoin the preserve.
