Gold camp and residual populated place in the Johnnie Mining District on the west slope of the Spring Mountains foothills, roughly fifteen miles north of Pahrump. Early-1900s mining left scattered ruins and district roads; a few structures and claims persist in a semi-ghost state. Mixed public and private land and active workings require care.
