1908 gold–silver boom camp in a volcanic caldera a few miles north of I-80 between Fernley and Lovelock (Exit 78 still signed Jessup). Peak population near 300 with stores and a post office; short-lived boom left wooden ruins, rusted equipment, and multiple fenced former mine workings along gravel roads north of the interstate.
