Approximate location — plotted from published sources, not a site visit, and not a guarantee of access.
Just past the Sand Flats Recreation Area entrance station east of Moab, Hell's Revenge Trailhead starts a roughly 6.5-mile difficult four-wheel-drive route across Navajo Sandstone fins with steep ledges and overlooks of the Moab Valley. The trail is managed for experienced drivers; stock vehicles and ATVs are discouraged or restricted per county guidance.
Cultural sites and artifacts are protected by federal law (ARPA/NHPA) — stay on established routes, touch and remove nothing, and follow the managing agency's and the affiliated tribe's guidance on access.
