Northwest of Hanksville on BLM land, this Morrison Formation bonebed is excavated under permit by paleontologists from the Burpee Museum, who offer free seasonal guided tours of exposed fossils. Outside tour weeks the site stays open for day viewing. Collecting vertebrate fossils without a permit is illegal.
