Grafton sits on the Virgin River south of Zion, one of Utah’s most photogenic ghost towns. Mormon settlers farmed here from the 1860s until floods and isolation emptied the place. The schoolhouse, homes, orchard setting, and cemetery remain carefully preserved. Short dirt road; stay on public paths and leave every artifact in place.
