Small Arizona State Parks unit just south of Safford and Roper Lake on the desert valley floor beneath Mount Graham. Stocked winter rainbow trout and resident largemouth bass draw anglers; the pond and Dos Arroyos Trail are a noted southern-Arizona birding stop for migratory waterfowl and desert songbirds, with mule deer, javelina, and fox also common.
