Brian Head Peak tops out at about 11,307 feet on the Markagunt Plateau in Dixie National Forest. A stone observation building built in 1934–35 by CCC Camp F-16 at Duck Creek stands on the summit and has served as both a public overlook and an occasional fire lookout. A short drive or walk reaches the structure, which looks west toward Nevada peaks and south across southern Utah plateaus.
