Beaver Dam State Park

Lincoln County, NV

Coordinate verified

One of Nevada's most remote state parks (~34 miles east of Caliente on a long graded gravel road), tucked against the Utah line in volcanic canyon country of Beaver Dam Wash. Streams, small waterfalls, pinyon-juniper woodland, and Watchable Wildlife habitat support fishing, camping, and hiking (Overlook, Oak Knoll, Waterfall trails) with almost no crowds — a primitive Great Basin oasis.
