Coordinate verified

World War I–era mining camp at the mouth of Cottonwood Canyon about five miles south of Marysvale, Piute County. It was built to process alunite for potash and experimental alumina when domestic potash was strategic, then emptied by about 1930 when peacetime prices collapsed.
